Natural Science Club typically takes trips to places of Natural or Scientific interest in Texas and New Mexico. We usually camp out on overnight trips in order to minimise the cost and to maximise the experience to students.
Previous trips have been to McKittrick Canyon in the Guadalupe mountains; Carrizzozo, New Mexico; White Sands National Monument; Space History museum in Alamogordo; Guadalupe peak in the Guadalupe Mountains National Park; Mc Donald Observatory; Balmorhea State Park and Fort Davis.

Our second trip of the year is to Caprock Canyons State Park, October 24th - 25th
A reflecting Telescope has been donated to the Club by a Mrs. Rhonda Graham of Lubbock. We will take the telescope on our trips for students to observe the moon and stars.
Our next trip is scheduled for November 13th to the Guadalupe Mountains
